What Our Customers Say
★★★★★
I am really glad I called in Apache to clear the land before we started building. It looks incredible. They made the land line clearly defined, as I requested. The final look to the property is great too. So glad we've worked together to prep this project.
★★★★★
Apache did a wonderful job clearing my property in record time. It was selective clearing requiring good communication and everything went smoothly. It was also a new property for me and heavily covered in dense jungle like coverage. Apache did a very nice job. I can highly recommend Apache for any clearing and mulching jobs.
★★★★★
They were on time every day and did what they said they could and would do for the price they said they could and would do it for. They had some good solutions for a few issues we needed to address. They are professional and awesome in their work ethic. The way things in the world are right now, that is saying a lot.
What We Do
Land Clearing Services
Built for Central Texas terrain: cedar, brush, rock, and everything in between.
Land Clearing
Complete clearing of brush, trees, and heavy vegetation from ranch land, large acreage, and commercial properties across Central Texas. We run tracked forestry mulchers, bulldozers, and excavators depending on what the terrain and the project require. From multi-acre ranch tracts to hundreds of acres of cedar-choked pastureland, we size the crew and the equipment to the job. Every project starts with a free on-site estimate.
Land Clearing →Forestry Mulching
Forestry mulching grinds trees and brush in place using a drum mulcher with carbide cutting teeth. No burning piles, no haul trucks, no wind rows to manage. Our steel-tracked machines and specialty teeth handle rocky terrain that stops wheeled equipment cold. The mulched material stays on-site as erosion-controlling ground cover that allows native grasses to re-establish. It is the fastest single-pass clearing method for most Central Texas vegetation and cedar jobs.
Forestry Mulching →Cedar Removal
Ashe juniper, what Texans call cedar, consumes 30 to 40 gallons of water per day and crowds out the native grasses that livestock and wildlife depend on. Cedar removal recovers pastureland, restores springs and seeps, and opens habitat for deer, quail, and other game. We handle cedar removal from light encroachment thinning to full-property clearing across the Texas cedar belt.
Cedar Removal →Excavation
Site prep, rough grading, pond construction, and dozing for commercial and ranch projects in Waco and Central Texas. Limestone shelf and rocky soil make Central Texas dirt work harder than most, and we run equipment and operators built for it. We handle foundation grading, earthen pond and stock tank work, ranch road building, and demolition with haul-off.
Excavation →Fence Row Clearing
Overgrown fence lines reduce visibility, accumulate vegetation that becomes fire fuel, and complicate boundary management on ranch land and large commercial properties. We clear fence rows with mulching equipment, cutting vegetation back past the wire to restore perimeter visibility and reduce fire risk along your property boundary. We take both fence-line-only jobs and fence row work combined with larger clearing projects.
Fence Row Clearing →Pipeline, Fencing & ROW
Right-of-way clearing and construction for pipeline corridors, power line easements, and utility access routes across Central Texas, including fence and gate installation along the corridor. We work initial corridor clearing for new construction and maintenance re-clearing of established easements where regrowth has reduced access. Tracked equipment handles terrain changes, creek crossings, and the rocky ground that ROW work regularly encounters in the Hill Country and Waco area.

Common Questions
Land Clearing FAQ
Answers to the questions we hear most from Central Texas property owners.
How much does land clearing cost in Texas?
Land clearing costs vary widely by brush density, tree size, terrain, and site access. Cedar-heavy ranch land takes more time and equipment than light brush on a flat lot. We quote every job after a site visit so you get an accurate number for your specific property, not a range pulled from thin air. Contact us for a free estimate.
What is the difference between land clearing and forestry mulching?
Land clearing is the general term for removing brush, trees, and vegetation from a property. Forestry mulching is a specific method that grinds trees and brush in place using a drum mulcher, leaving a ground cover of wood chips. It's faster and less disruptive than dozing. For most brush and cedar clearing in Central Texas, forestry mulching is our preferred method.
Do you clear cedar trees?
Yes. Cedar removal is one of our most common jobs in Central Texas. We handle everything from selective cedar thinning to full property cedar clearing. Removing Ashe juniper (cedar) opens up pastureland, improves the water table, and helps native grasses recover. We serve landowners across McLennan, Travis, Hays, Blanco, and Harris counties.
How long does it take to clear an acre?
Production rates depend on brush density, tree size, terrain, and method. Light brush on flat ground: an acre or more per day. Dense cedar mottes on rocky Hill Country terrain: less than an acre per day. We'll give you an honest timeline when we quote the job.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Apache Mulching LLC is fully licensed and insured for all land clearing, mulching, and excavation work. Our insurance covers the equipment, the crew, and your property.
What areas do you serve?
We base out of Central Texas and serve clients across the state. Our primary coverage includes Waco and McLennan County, Austin and Travis County, Hays County, Blanco County, and Houston and Harris County. For large projects, we'll travel farther.
